Meet James N. Dicks
James N. Dicks is a former member of the Los Angeles Police Department and served as an officer and detective from 1977-1987. He attended the Western State University College of Law during his time at the Police Department and passed the California State Bar Examination on his first attempt in 1987. His law practice is focused on the field of personal injury.
Attorney Dicks became a member of the County Public Defender’s Office in 1987 and handled various cases obtaining impressive results. After five years of practice, he became a Certified Criminal Law Specialist by the California Board of Legal Specialization and focused on Personal Injury Law as well as Criminal Law.
Meet Joanne Sanchez
Attorney Sanchez is the newest member of jD LAW, P.C. She attended the University of Santa Barbara with a double major in Law & Society and Sociology and graduated in 2008.
Originally a native of Los Angeles, Attorney Sanchez is fluent in both English and Spanish. She as a senior legal assistant for a middle-sized law firm for a few years until she moved to San Diego to pursue a law degree.
Attorney Sanchez recently graduated from the California Western School of Law and became a member of the firm with background knowledge in personal injury law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, and bankruptcy law.
Meet Lisbette Jacqueline Baltazar
Attorney Baltazar attended the California State University San Marcos and graduated with cum laude distinction as a Political Science major. She pursued a law degree at the California Western School of Law and recently graduated.
Attorney Baltazar supervises the daily operations of jD LAW, P.C. Being fluent in both English and Spanish, she helps with intake paperwork, client interviews, case preparation, and legal briefs.
