At jD LAW, P.C., we are proud to give our support to the men and women at Las Valientes, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people of any age, ethnic culture, or background escape from abusive relationships.

Without a support system in place, leaving a domestic violence situation can be next to impossible. Throughout San Diego County, Las Valientes has been providing invaluable help to countless women in the Hispanic community who are trying to break free from an abusive partner. That’s why we sponsored their “More Precious Than Rubies” event, a night of entertainment to celebrate Las Valientes’ 18 years of service to their community and to raise funds to help support their mission.

On March 31^st of this year, we also participated in Las Valientes’ free legal clinic, giving numerous people from underserved population the chance to speak with an attorney about their case. The team at jD LAW, P.C., used their expertise and knowledge of criminal defense to answer questions and provide any guidance necessary.

Many people who are facing a domestic violence situation feel as though they have no options.
